In the Garden

 [capo 1]

I Ecome to the A/Egarden aElone

While the Adew is still on the Eroses

And the Bvoice I hear falling Eon my ear

The F#Son of God disBsus Bcloses.

And He Ewalks with me, and He Btalks with me,

And He F#mtells me I am His Eown;

And the Ejoy we E/G#mshare as we Atarry Cthere,

None Eother has Bever Eknown.

He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

I'd stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.
